James Warner Touchet

Private Family Services for James Warner Touchet, 45, of West Monroe, LA, will be held on Tuesday, March 24, 2020. Interment will be in Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial Services will be held at a later date.
Mr. Touchet was born July 25, 1974, and passed away March 18, 2020. He graduated from Alexandria Senior High in 1992 and then attended Northeast Louisiana University receiving his degree in Business and Journalism and was a member of the Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity. Mr. Touchet was an avid sports fan and covered high school and college sports for the Gannett newspaper and other media outlets across the state. He was a Substitute Teacher with Monroe City School System and loved teaching the kids. He never met a stranger, and everyone was a friend to him.
Survivors include his wife of 19 years, Jill Touchet; son, Luke Touchet; daughter, Lilly Touchet; his mother, Rae Belle Adams and husband Kenneth; his father, Donald Touchet and wife Amber; brothers, Rhett Adams and Donald L. Touchet; sister, Chrystal Touchet; father and mother-in-law, Michael and Jean Burroughs.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Andrew Oliver, Scott Boniol and member of Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or to the Children’s Miracle Network.
