Interment will be in Hasley Cemetery in West Monroe.Mr. Parks was born on November 13, 1933 in Winnsboro, LA, and passed away on August 17, 2014 in Clinton, MS.Mr. Parks was a retired county supervisor from USDA Farmers Home Administration. He loved the Lord and loved his country. Mr. Parks is preceded in death by his parents Robert and Willie Avis Parks, brother, W.R. “Dub” Parks.Survivors include his loving wife of 55 years Helen Culp Parks of Clinton, MS; son, James (Jamie) Parks, Jr, of Clinton, MS; brother, Donnie Parks and wife Elizabeth of Winnsboro, LA; sister-in-law, Arlene Parks of West Monroe, LA; and numerous nieces and nephews.Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M.
