James Edwin McBride

Funeral services for Mr. James Edwin McBride, 82, of Monroe, LA, will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, June 1, 2024, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home Sterlington Rd., Monroe, LA, with Rev. Ricky Bonnett officiating. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery in Monroe. Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until service time at the funeral home.

Mr. McBride was born February 11, 1942, and passed away May 21, 2024. He was a lifelong resident of Monroe, LA, and was blessed with true lifelong friends and loving family.

Mr. McBride is preceded in death by his parents, Woodrow and Pauline McBride; his brother, Charles Thomas McBride; sister-in-law, Betty McClanahan McBride; and stepdaughter, Jody Estell Bolton.

Mr. McBride is survived by his wife, Carol Lynn McBride; his sister, Susie McBride Moncla and husband Stephen; stepdaughters, Ingrid Biggar and husband Pat McGuire, Kathy Willingham and husband Jerry, and LeaAnn Biggar and husband Ryan Douglas; nieces, Carol Ann McBride of Cincinnati, OH, Paula McBride of Shreveport, LA, and Stephanie Lamb and husband Micah Lamb of Waco, TX; nephew, Charles “Chuck” McBride and wife Tarilyn of Baton Rouge, LA, and their daughter, Allison; as well as seven grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Thomas Bolton, Luke Bolton, Charles McBride, and Ben Sawyer.
