James "Jim" Burk

Funeral Services for Mr. James “Jim” Burk, 87, of Eros, LA, will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, November 24, 2021, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe, with Flo Worster officiating. Interment will follow at St. Paschal Catholic Cemetery in West Monroe.

Jim was born September 9, 1934 and passed away on November 21, 2021. He was a veteran who served in the United States Army and United States National Guard. Jim worked for over 37 years at Columbian Chemicals as the worldwide laboratory manager. He married Cora Theriot on November 13, 1984.

Jim is preceded in death by his parents, Dave and Edith Burk; and grandson, Jonathan Worster.

Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Cora Theriot Burk; four children, Michelle Robinson and husband Kris, Teri Glover and husband Scott, Alan Worster and wife Flo, Becky Clark and husband Russell; nine grandchildren, Ainsley Smith and husband Brandon, Steven Worster and wife Ellyn, Blake Robinson and wife Lauren, Nikki Dailey and husband John, Kristian Hicks and husband Jake, Kelsey Weeks and husband Scott, Alec Robinson , Adam Worster, and Nicholas Lynchard; six great-grandchildren, Abbey Smith, Barrett Smith, Jaycee Lanier, Hutch Hicks, Tomi Hicks, and Goldie Worster; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many special friends.

Visitation will be from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM Wednesday, November 24, 2021, at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.
