Services for James Harvey Brownell, Sr., 96 will be at 2:00PM Wednesday, November 26, 2014 in the Mulhearn Chapel in Winnsboro. Interment will follow in the Myrtle Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home-Winnsboro.Mr. Brownell was born on March 1, 1918 and passed from this life on November 24, 2014. He was a veteran service officer in Franklin Parish.He is preceded in death by his parents-Floyd and Harretta Mock Brownell.He is survived by his wife of 72 years-Agnes Troha Brownell of Winnsboro; a son-James H. Brownell, Jr. of West Monroe; and a daughter-Pamelia Brownell Hense of Diamond Head, Miss; grandchildren-Jamie Ratcliff, Christopher Brownell, and Jason Wegener; and 4 great grandchildren.Pallbearers are: Billy Boutwell, Ira Browning, John Duncan, Don Franklin, Travis White, Jerry Martin, Christopher Brownell, and Jason Wegener.Honorary Pallbearers are the member of American Legion Post #84.Visitation will be Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at 12:00PM till service time in the chapel.
