Funeral services for Mr. James George Kolokouris, 95, of Monroe, will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, October 1, 2008, at Saints Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church with Father Dimitri Leuosis officiating. Interment will follow in Riverview Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.
Mr. Kolokouris, retired ice cream maker for Kokinos Ice Cream Company, passed away Sunday, September 28, 2008.
Survivors include his wife Tina Kolokouris; two daughters, Gloria Marshall and husband Melvin of Houston, TX, and Irene Hill and husband Frank of Monroe, LA; brother, Anthony Kolokouris of San Francisco, CA; and a number of grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Pallbearers will be his grandsons.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM and a Trisagion Service at 7:00 PM at Saints Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church.
