Services for Mr. James E. Wilson, 89, of Start, LA will be 2:30 PM , Sunday,February 28, 2010, at Mulhearn Funeral Home Chapel – Rayville with Bro. Jeffrey Thomas and Bro. James Barham officiating. Internment to follow in Start Cemetery, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home Rayville.
Mr. Wilson a member of Start Baptist Church and a World War II Army veteran, serving in the European Theatre passed away Feb. 26, 2010 in Oak Ridge, LA. He was retired from Olin Paper Company and was preceded in death by his parents George H. Wilson, Sr. and Laura Wilson, his wife Nancy Wilson and brothers George H. Wilson, Jr., J. B. Wilson, and Hubert Ray Wilson.
He is survived by two sisters, Odessa Wilson of Shreveport, LA and Doris Shed of Jackson, MS, a brother, Aubrey Wilson and his wife Joyce of Walker, LA, as well as numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Brian Barham, James Barham, Chris Thomas, John Thomas, Stephen Myres, and Huey Hamm.
Honorary Pallbearers, Larry Seymour and Mickey Skains.
Visitation is from 1:30 pm until services time, Sunday, February 28, 2010 at the funeral home.
