James Ernest Mulhern, Sr.

Funeral Services for James Ernest Mulhern, Sr., 72, of Monroe, LA will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, April 30, 2012 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe with Dr. Alan Miller and Rev. Jon Tellifero officiating. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mr. Mulhern died April 27, 2012 in Monroe, LA. He served 11 years in the United States Air Force, two years in Okinawa and one year in Vietnam. He was very active in his church serving with the television ministry and enjoyed televising West Monroe High School football through the same ministry. He enjoyed spending time with his family.
Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Linda Womack Mulhern; children, Jennifer Mulhern Bass, Jay Mulhern and his wife Deanna, David Mulhern and his wife Amy, and Laura Mulhern; four grandchildren, Brian Bass, Trey Mulhern, John Mulhern, and Jaxon Mulhern; sisters-in-law, Sara Swift, Anita Breen; brother-in-law, Jimmy Womack and his wife Nita Rae.
Pallbearers will be Rusty Grant, Bruce Garner, James Green, Brian Ringo, Jerry Roark, and Ben Shockley. Honorary Pallbearers will be Bill Arrington, Bob Lewter, Joel Jones, J.W. Warden and Gordon Kenwright.
Visitation will be 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM Sunday, April 29, 2012 at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.
