Funeral Services for Mr. James Ellis “Tuffy” Antley, 75, of Downsville, LA will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, March 30, 2010 at the Providence Baptist Church in Point, LA with Mr. Alan Robertson and Rev. Johney Sanders officiating. Interment will follow in the Lone Cherry Cemetery in Mangham, LA under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA
Tuffy Antley was born on March 4, 1935 in Point, LA and left this world on March 28, 2010 in Point, LA. Mr. Antley was retired from General Motors, working at the Guide Plant. He loved fishing and at one time was a commercial fisherman. Mr. Antley is preceded in death by his parents, Ira and Ada Antley; wife, Shelby Antley; son, James Robin Antley; and son-in-law, David Murphy.
Survivors include his daughter, Debi Murphy; son-in-law, Gary Calloway; daughter-in-law, Connie Antley; grandchildren, Cody Murphy and wife Candice, Micah and Jessica Antley, Christy Murphy, Daniel Antley and Tabitha Antley; numerous great grandchildren; brother, Joseph Victor Antley; sister, Elma Antley Wilhite and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Roger Antley, Keith Antley, Barry Antley, Steve Antley, Eric Antley and Ricky Nolan.
Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until service time at the church.
