James Edward "Mr. Mac" McMillon

Funeral services celebrating the life of James Edward “Mr. Mac” McMillon, 75, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 10:00 A.M. Friday, September 23, 2022, in the Mulhearn Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel Monroe, LA with Rev. Warren Eckhardt officiating. Interment will be held in the Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA.

Mr. McMillon was born on February 27, 1947, in Oak Grove, LA and passed away on September 20, 2022, in West Monroe, LA. He was a member of the Pipe Fitters Union and the owner of McMillon Grocery and Deer Processing and a member of Trinity Baptist Church in West Monroe, LA. He loved the outdoors, fishing and gardening. Mr. McMillon is preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Delores McMillon; son, Mark; and great granddaughter, Willow.

Survivors include his son, Johnny McMillon and wife, Jennifer; daughter, Kristie Walker and husband, Trent; nine grandchildren; four great grandchildren; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. on Thursday, September 22, 2022, at Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA.

Memorials may be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
