James "Jimmy" Bernard Beckham

A memorial service celebrating the life of James “Jimmy” Bernard Beckham, 53, of West Monroe, Louisiana, will be held at 3:00 P.M., Saturday, October 19, 2024, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe, with Rev. David Moreland officiating. The visitation will be held from 2:30 P.M. until the time of service.

On Tuesday, October 15, 2024, at the age of 53, James Bernard “Jimmy” Beckham, of West Monroe, Louisiana passed away peacefully. Jimmy was born April 18, 1971, in Fort Carson, Colorado to Randy Beckham and Nore Beckham Eppinette. 

Jimmy loved fishing with his dad and brothers during his spare time. He had a passion for woodworking and cabinetry. He worked as an electrician apprentice and finally as a Coca Cola maintenance technician. Jimmy was a talented musician who loved playing the guitar with his sister, Jennifer. They spent many happy hours jamming to music with heavy metal vibes (Metallica) being his favorite.

His primary love was his children: Madison, Chloe and Dillon. He greatly valued the time spent with his children. He cherished his first grandson, Grayson, and was looking forward to the birth of his second grandson. 

Jimmy was preceded in death by his brother, Randy Beckham, Jr.; grandparents, Opal Cummings Jones and William A. “Bill” Jones; Sylven “Buddy” Coleman and Ethel E. Coleman; uncles, Bernard F. “Butch” Beckham; Jerry D. Beckham; Tommy Joe Coleman; aunt, Cecelia Coleman Skipper.

Jimmy is survived by his children: Madison, Chloe and Dillon; grandson, Grayson; his father, Randy Beckham and wife, Vera; mother, Nore Beckham Eppinette; sister, Jennifer Beckham Bridges (Lucas); brother, Billy Beckham (Tracie); and sisters-in-law, Kelly Beckham and Angel S. Beckham. He is also survived and loved by numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.
