Funeral services for James A. Zambie, Jr., 72, of Monroe, will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, October 15, 2014, at Jesus the Good Shepherd Catholic Church with Rev. Keith Garvin officiating. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.Mr. Zambie died Saturday, October 11, 2014, at St. Francis Medical Center. He was a member of Jesus the Good Shepherd Catholic Church Jimmy retired as Assistant Chief from the Monroe Police Department after 34 years of service. He loved the outdoors spending time with his family hunting and fishing.Mr. Zambie was preceded in death by his parents, James A. Zambie, Sr., and Allene Tonore Zambie.Survivors include wife, Mrs. Mary R.
