Graveside services for Jack McPhail, 92, of Monroe, will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, Oct. 3, 2015, at Mulhearn Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel with Rev. Terry Mims officiating. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.Mr. McPhail died Thursday, Oct. 1, 2015, at his residence. He was a retired Office Manager from Burgess Oil Company and a Navy Veteran of World War II.Mr. McPhail was preceded in death by his wife, Jenette.Survivors include children, Gwen Dumas and husband Dennis of West Monroe, Larry Milton McPhail of Monroe, Mary Bess McPhail and Dr. Danny Twitchell of Monroe, Alice Springmeyer and husband Craig of Shreveport; Jack McPhail, Jr. of Monroe; grandchildren, Jennifer Dumas, Jeff Springmeyer, Alexa Clack and husband Ben, Chessa Anne Copeland; great grandchild, Taswell Hastings Clack; numerous nieces and nephews.Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Wounded Warrior Project.
