Jack Leonard Moore

Funeral service for Mr. Jack Leonard Moore, 88, of Sterlington, LA, will be held at 10:00AM Wednesday, September 8, 2021, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home Sterlington Rd. Monroe with Rev. Brian Mercer officiating. Interment to follow in Hall Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:00AM until service time Wednesday at Mulhearn Funeral Home.
Mr. Moore was a member of First United Methodist Church in Monroe for over 30 years. He was an Air Force Veteran of the Korean War, where he was a Staff SGT and served as an aircraft mechanic. Mr. Moore was a member of the VFW and retired as a Foreman HVAC mechanic with the State of Louisiana. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie Moore and his daughter, Bonnie McDonald.
Survivors include his children, Teri Patterson (Chris), Vicki Evans (Robbie), and Linda Watson (David); grandchildren, Michael McDonald (Rachel), Jana Bradley (Justin), Simon Patterson (Rhianne), Scott Patterson (Sara), John Watson (Lauren), and Abbey Hughes (Tyler); great grandchildren, Seth McDonald, Ava McDonald, Ella McDonald, Jaden Bradley, Jax Bradley, Luke Watson, and James Hughes; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be David Watson, Michael McDonald, Justin Bradley, Robbie Evans, Brandon Moore, and Archie Evans.
Memorials may be made to the Methodist Children’s Home or to Samaritan’s Purse.
