Mr. Jack Jones Nolan, Jr. (Jacky), age 77 of Monroe, Louisiana, passed away early Wednesday morning, Feb. 17th, 2021. Jacky was born and raised in Oak Ridge, Louisiana to Mrs. & Mrs. Jack Jones Nolan, Sr. Jacky graduated from High School in Oak Ridge, LA and later graduated with a bachelor’s degree from then Northeast Louisiana State College in Monroe, LA. He was an officer for the Welfare Department after graduation and farmed. Later he owned a custom harvesting business and most recently Cracker Jack Lawn Care Service. Jacky is survived by his wife, Candy Jones Nolan of Monroe, Louisiana and three children from this marriage: Jesse Jones Nolan, William Baker Nolan (wife: Jennilee Arrington Nolan) and James Luke Nolan of Monroe, LA. Also, from his first marriage to Sarah (Punkin) Paxton, he is survived by two older children, Jack Jones Nolan, III(Jay) of Rayville and William Bradford Nolan (wife: Alicia Ervin Nolan). His grandchildren are William Alexander Nolan, Brandi Marie Nolan, and Michael Nolan whose parents are Brad & Alicia Nolan; Katie Nolan and Justin Nolan whose father is Jay Nolan; Ella Victoria Little and Charlotte Catherine Nolan whose parents are Will & Jennilee Nolan. Jacky was a resident of Monroe, LA at the time of his death having previously lived in Epps, LA and Tallulah, LA for many years.
Visitation open to the public from 4PM - 7PM Tuesday, Feb. 23rd, 2021 at Mulhearn Funeral Home, 2308 Sterlington Rd, Monroe, LA (Highway 165). Private Funeral Services for family will be at 2PM on Wednesday, Feb. 24th, 2021 at the Oak Ridge Baptist Church in Oak Ridge, LA.
