J. P. Wyatt

Memorial services celebrating the life of John P. (J.P.) Wyatt, 86, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 5:00 P.M. Tuesday in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Calhoun, LA.

Visitation will be from 3:30 P.M. until services.

Mr. Wyatt died September 2, 2021, at his residence surrounded by his family.

J.P. was in the bag industry first with Olinkraft Paper Company for over 24 years and he retired from Bancroft Bag after 17 years of service. He served in the United States Marine Corps. He was a 32nd degree Mason. J. P. loved the outdoors spending time with his family hunting and fishing. He especially loved to hunt ducks with his boys.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Dorothy Wyatt and sister, Lorraine Thompson.
Survivors: his wife, Mrs. Joyce V. Wyatt; Daughter, Terri Wyatt Grayson and her husband, Greg; Sons, Johnny Wyatt and his wife, Becky and Mike Wyatt; Grandson, Brandon Bruffett; and Sister, Eva Jean Scott.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
