Iva Lee Evans

A memorial service celebrating the life of Iva Lee Evans, 81, of West Monroe, Louisiana, will be held at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, August 17, 2024, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe with Deborah Cole and Teresa Nolan officiating. The visitation will be held from 9:00 A.M. until the time of service.

Iva was born on October 24, 1942, in Monroe, Louisiana, and passed away on August 11, 2024, in West Monroe, Louisiana. 

Ms. Evans was preceded in death by her parents, David and Johnnie Mae Evans; son, Cleat August Temple, Jr.; brother, Joseph Evans; sisters, Charlotte Lay, Barbara Temple, and Shirley Evans; grandsons, Shane, Derrick, Chad, Colton, and Hunter; great grandsons, Leon, Hayden, DJ, Justin, and Logan; and one granddaughter, Nevaeh.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Deborah McIntosh-Cole and her husband, John, Patricia Miller and her partner, Terry Gremillion, Tracy Johnson, Deborah Wharton, Melissa Riles, Crystal Snell and partner, Nick; son, Ernest Grisham, Jr.; brothers, Steve Evans and James Evans; sisters, Sandra Reagan, Carolyn Nolan, and Mary Owens. She also leaves behind twelve grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.
