Irene Brohm Golson Mulhearn Funeral HomeWest Monroe, LA Graveside Services for Mrs. Irene Brohm Golson, 82, of Sterling, VA, will be held 2:00 P.M., Saturday, January 31, 2015 at Hasley Cemetery Memorial Pavilion with Rev. Frank Coens officiating under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe. Mrs. Golson was born on Saturday, December 31, 1932 in Dayton, Ohio and passed away on Monday, January 19, 2015, at Reston Hospital in Reston, VA. Irene was the daughter of the late Arthur Bakos and the late Marguerite Lucas Bakos and the wife of the late Charles Golson, Sr. who preceded her in death in 2012. She was a pioneer in the Oil fields as a female Geologist. Irene later went to work for the federal government and worked for the DOD.She leaves to cherish her memory her son, Stuart Brohm of Sterling, VA; her daughters, Catherine James of Trenton, FL, Frances Moore of Lake Hills, TX and Christina Brohm Williams of Mary Esther, FL.Visitation will be held from 12:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. on Saturday at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe, LA.
