Ira Lee (Zig) Zeagler

Funeral services for Ira Lee “Zig” Zeagler, 88, of West Monroe, will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday, July 30, 2013, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe, with Rev. Charlie Hood officiating.

Mr. Zeagler passed away Friday, July 26, 2013, at the Northeast Louisiana War Veterans Home. He was a retired real estate broker and an insurance salesman. Mr. Zeagler was a WWII Army Veteran.

Mr. Zeagler was preceded in death by mother, Clara Galjour and husband Luke; father, Isaac Ross Zeagler and wife Deb; step sister, Jean Kelly; and step son, Doug Hunt.

Survivors include children, Donny Zeagler and fiancée Anna Esquibell, Bobbie Pardue and husband Wayne, Denise Rizzo and husband Mark, Mary Kay Woods and husband William “Jeff” and Kristie Michau and husband John; stepchildren, Bonnie Hayden and husband Ricky, Linda Taylor and husband Keith, David Hunt and wife Frieda; step brothers, Bob Zeagler and wife Wanda and Bill Zeagler and wife Mary Beth; step sister, Joan Hollingshead and husband Robert; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. 

Visitation will be Monday from 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Mission World, Lamb Broadcasting, or World Wide Prison Ministries in Mayo, FL.
