Graveside services for Inda Mae Taylor, 96, of Gibsland, will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, July 31, 2015, at Longstraw Cemetery, Choudrant, Louisiana, with Dr. Larry Stafford officiating. Mrs. Taylor died Monday, July 27, 2015, at Avalon Place in Monroe.Mrs. Taylor was preceded in death by her husband, A. G. Taylor; father, Thomas Rhoderic Wright; and mother, Sallie Redwine Wright. She was a homemaker and Home Economics Educator. Mrs. Taylor grew up in the Longstraw Methodist congregation, where she served as a pianist. She was the wife of a Methodist minister and upon his retirement in 1980, she placed her membership in Gibsland United Methodist Church.Survivors include her sons, Rev. J. Roddy Taylor and wife Linda, Jack H. Taylor and wife Renee, and Robert E. Taylor; grandchildren, Kevin W. Simmons and wife Leann, Jenifer McHale and husband Kelly, Stephanie Wells and husband Billy, Traci Daigre and husband Rob, Emily Wolfe and husband Beau, Rebecca Taylor; great grandchildren, Kyle Simmons, Cody Simmons, Nicole Simmons, Josh McHale and wife Cassie, Jesi McHale, Johnny McHale, Julia McHale, Taylor Glorioso, Gracie Glorioso, Billy Wells, Hunter Daigre, Jordan Daigre, Hayden Wolfe and Davis Wolfe; great, great granddaughters, Gracelynn Simmons and Ilitah Simmons.Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 PM, Thursday, July 30, 2015, at Mulhearn Funeral Home on Sterlington Road.The family wishes to extend their thanks to the staff and caregivers at Avalon Nursing Home.Memorials may be made to Gibsland United Methodist Church, Gibsland, Louisiana.
