Idella Wooley

Graveside services for Idella Wooley, 88, of Monroe, LA, will be held 11:00AM Friday, July 10, 2020, in the mausoleum chapel of Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery in Monroe, LA, with Rev. Lanny Turner and Dr. Bryant Barnes officiating. Interment will follow in Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery, Monroe, LA. Arrangements are under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington, Monroe, LA.

Mrs. Wooley was born August 26, 1931, in Alexandria, LA and passed away Tuesday, July 7, 2020, at St. Francis Medical Center in Monroe, LA. She was a member of Parkview Baptist Church and worked with children with disabilities for the State of Louisiana for many years until her retirement. Idella was married to Bernard Wooley for sixty- two years.

Survivors include three sons, Lt. Gen. Michael W. Wooley, USAF, Retired and wife Kathy DeAnn of Navarre, FL, James Robert Wooley and wife Peggy of Baton Rouge, LA, and Richard W. “Rick” Wooley and wife Sherri of Chesterfield Township, MI; and eight grandchildren, six great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Parkview Baptist Church.
