Hunter was born on September 10, 1947 in Greenwood, MS. He passed away on January 22, 2024 in Baton Rouge, LA with his youngest daughter holding his hand. He enjoyed raising Hunter T’s beagles, visiting with his McDonald’s coffee group in Bastrop and keeping the staff of the Bastrop Walmart on their toes. Having grown up in a musical family, Hunter not only sang, but he played several musical instruments. One of his greatest joys was listening to his daughters sing. He joined the Masterworks Adult Choir to sing with his daughter, Holly. And he proudly attended Teen Talent events to watch his daughter, Julianne, perform. Hunter was a retired insurance agent that spent the majority of his career with Security Plan Life. He was a 1965 graduate of Crossett High School. He attended the University of Arkansas at Monticello, where he was a member of Sigma Tau Gamma Fraternity.
He is preceded in death by parents, Clifton Hunter Talley, Jr. and Esther Hopson Talley; and brother, William “Bill” Watson, Jr.
