Howard Marcus Hill

Funeral services celebrating the life of Howard Marcus Hill, 55, of Monroe, LA will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, February 4, 2018, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Monroe, LA, with Rev. Warren Eckhardt and Bronson Moss officiating. Interment will follow in the Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery in Monroe, LA.

Marcus was born on October 30, 1962, in Monroe, LA, and passed away on February 1, 2018, after many years of medical issues.

Marcus was a member of the Northeast Louisiana EMCOMM Amateur Radio, NELA Amateur Radio Club and SKYWARN with call sign of N5HMH. He loved the outdoors hunting and fishing with his family at the farm in Oak Grove, LA.

He was preceded in death by his Father, Donald M. Hill; and Grandparents, Ocie and Ruth Howard and Alyce and Bert Hill.

Survivors: his Mother, Patricia Ann Howard Hill; Brothers, David Malcolm Hill (Dana) and Donald Gregory Hill (Jennifer); Nieces and Nephews, Hailey Morgan Hill, Taylor Whitney Hill, Codi McKenzie Hill, David Malcolm Hill, Jr., Dawson Michael Hill, Christopher Bailey Hill, and Abbigail Nicole Hill; Special Aunt, Beth “Bruno” Alexander; Special Cousins, Billy Jo and Kathy Porter and Tracy Elizabeth Watzek.

Pallbearers will be Trey Fluitt, Wade Jackson, D. J. Hill, Dawson Hill, Duffy Frantom, Billy Jordan, Steve Descant and Mickey Tucker. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Amateur Radio Operators.

Visitation will be from 3:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. Saturday at Mulhearn Funeral Home in Monroe, LA

The family would like to give special thanks to Wade Jackson, Steve Descant, Duffy Frantom and members of the Ham Radio Club for always being there for Marcus. Also, all health care providers, EMS, Fire personnel and Dr. Michael Zambie for his dedicated care of Marcus.
