Howard Cornelius Shepherd

Funeral Service for Howard Cornelius Shepherd, 47, of West Monroe, LA, will be held at 10:30 A.M., Friday, May 29, 2020, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe, LA, with Dr. Greg Clark officiating. Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Friday at Hall Cemetery in Richland Parish, LA. Visitation will be held from 9:30 A.M. until service time on Friday.

Howard was born December 26,1972 and passed away on May 24, 2020.

He was a loving son, father, brother, uncle, grandfather, and friend. He was a hardworking roofer by trade for 30+ years and truly loved what he did. In his free time, he was also very passionate about racing, hunting, and fishing.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ruby and J.C. Shepherd; one brother, James Shepherd; his son, Lee Shepherd; daughter, Paige Shepherd; and grandmother, Doris Spears.

He is survived by his two daughters, Kansas Shepherd of Rayville, LA and Skyler Wright and husband Austin of West Monroe, LA; one sister, Jamie Shepherd and Ronnie Donaldson of West Monroe, LA; also surviving are his significant other, Nora Jones of West Monroe; his four grandchildren; Breeley, Brentley, Kansley, and Jacob; one niece, Lacy; and three nephews, Kerry, Clayton, and Clay.
