Services for Hilton J. Southern, 98 of Winnsboro will 2:00PM Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at the Crockett Point Baptist Church with Rev. Joe Sinn officiating. Burial will be in Providence Memorial Cemetery near Winnsboro under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home-Winnsboro.Mr. Southern was born on February 25, 1917 in Crowville and passed from this life on December 20, 2015. He was a farmer and a long time member of Crockett Point Baptist Church.He is survived by a daughter-Janesse Wactor of Crowville; son-Jarrel Dale Southern of Crowville; six grandchildren-Michelle, Barbara, Kirk, Ronnie, Michael, and Heather and their husbands and wives; ten great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.Pallbearers will be Ricky Caldwell, Bobby Cox, Larry Cox, Terry Lightsey, Buster Hammonds, and Billy Earl Hammonds.Visitation will be at the church from 6:00-8:00PM Monday, December 21, 2015.Online registry/condolences made at www.mulhearnfuneralhome.com.Arrangements under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Winnsboro, LA.
