Services celebrating the life of Herman Bernard Wilson, 89, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 11:30 AM Saturday May 5, 2018 at the Mulhearn Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel in Monroe, LA with Rev. Ricky Baker officiating. Interment will be in Mulhearn Memorial Park, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe, LA.
Mr. Wilson died May 3, 2018 at his residence surrounded by his family.
Herman was born from the union of George Brandon and Lyda Mae Wilson in 1929.
Mr. Wilson attended West Lakes Seventh Day Adventist Church in West Monroe. He was a retired Vice-President of Operations for A & L M Railroad Company with over 47 years of service. Herman was a 32nd degree Mason and Secretary of the Graham Surghnor Masonic Lodge # 383, Scottish Rite Mason and former member of BARAK Shriners.
Survivors: his wife of 70 years, Mrs. Dorothy T. Wilson; Daughters, Terry Robinson (Orie), Debbie Annis, Robin Bernard (Mike), Pam Spencer (Pat); Sons, Mickey Wilson and Roger B. Wilson (Rita); 11 Grandchildren and 10 Great Grandchildren, 2 Great Great Grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews
Pallbearers will be his grandsons and great grandsons.
Visitation will be from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. Friday at Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe, LA.
Memorials may be made to the Shriners Children’s Hospital, Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research or the American Cancer Society.
