Funeral service for Mrs. Helen Ruth Ivy Hogard, 79, of Monroe, LA, will be held 2:00 P.M., Thursday, March 24, 2016 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Monroe, LA with Dr. Elizabeth Foy officiating. Interment will be at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery in Monroe, LA. Mrs. Hogard was born June 13, 1936 and passed away March 21, 2016. She loved her family, cooking, shopping, Nascar and PBR bull riding. Mrs. Hogard was retired from E.A. Conway as a switch board supervisor. She was preceded in death by her parents, JT Ivy and Myrtle Lowery Ivy; half-brother, John Terry Ivy; and half-sister, Myrtice Ivy.Survivors include her husband, Woodrow Hogard, Jr.; sons, Kreig Hogard and wife Denise, Keith Hogard and wife Charlene and Kevin Hogard and wife Christi; grandchildren, Taylor and Kristin Hogard; step-grandchildren, Dalton and Alyssa Griffin; brother, Lavelle Ivy; half-brothers, Roger Ivy and wife Barbara of Rayville, LA, Douglas Ivy and wife Vicky of Louisberg, TN, Ronald Ivy and wife Linda, and Clarence Ivy; and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Jason Johnson, Davey McGaugh, Jesse McGaugh, Tyler McGaugh, Warren Duchesne and Joe Ellis. Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M., Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Monroe.
