Funeral Services Celebrating the Life of Mrs. Helen Ramsey Kidd, 82, of Monroe, LA will be held at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at Swartz First Baptist Church with Dr. James Parker and Jon Michael Kidd officiating. Interment will follow in the Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery in Monroe, LA under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home Monroe, LA.

Mrs. Kidd was born on December 22, 1935 and passed away on June 10, 2018. Helen was a member of Swartz First Baptist Church. She retired after 35 years of service as Secretary of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Monroe, LA. Mrs. Kidd loved traveling and cross stitching. She is preceded in death by her parents, Leon and Doris Ramsey; great grandson, Garrett Thompson and her niece, Tamara Ramsey.

Survivors include her children, Michael Kidd and wife, Jeanine; Gary Kidd and wife, Sharon; and Deborah Wright and husband, Pat; grandchildren, Larabee Thompson and husband, Patrick; Jeff Kidd; Joshua Kidd and wife, Stephanie; Jason Hatchett; Kim McCarty and husband, Brock; and Jon Michael Kidd and wife, Courtney; great grandchildren, Avery Thompson, Madison Kidd, Nate Thompson, Hayden Kidd, Cameron Kidd, Aubrey McCarty, Adley McCarty and Ezra Kidd; and brother, Sonny Ramsey and wife, Jan.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Jeff Kidd, Joshua Kidd, Jon Michael Kidd, Jason Hatchett, Patrick Thompson, and Brock McCarty.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. on Monday, June 11, 2018 at Mulhearn Funeral Home Monroe, LA.

Memorials may be made to the Tamara Ramsey Scholarship Fund at First Baptist Church Swartz.
