Helen Mills

Services celebrating the life of Mrs. Helen Mills, 88, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, October 29, 2017 at Peniel Baptist Church in West Monroe with Rev. Randy LaGrone and Rev. Tim Mosher officiating. Interment will be at Fellowship Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home.
Mrs. Mills was born on June 13, 1929 and passed away on October 26, 2017. She was an exceptional mother, strong in her faith and raised her children in church. Mrs. Mills enjoyed cooking Sunday dinners for all of her family. Helen is preceded in death by her husband, C.B. Mills; son, Mark Mills; daughter, Linda Sue Mills Lacy, grandson, Derek McGrew, son-in-law, Scotty Harrell and numerous siblings.
Survivors include her children, Matt Mills (Alta), Luke Mills (Debbie), John Mills (Ginny), James Mills (Judy), Paul Mills (Carolyn), Shelia Mills McGrew (David), Mary Mills Harrell; numerous grandchildren; great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.
Pallbearers will be Koby Mills, John Mark Mills, Jesse Mills, Shawn Mills, Jeremy Mills, Jay LaGrone, Darby Harrell, Daniel Harrell, and Dustin Harrell.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Saturday and from noon until service time Sunday at Peniel Baptist Church West Monroe, LA.
Memorials may be made to the Peniel Baptist Church Building Fund.
