Funeral services for Helen Marie Bonnett Massey, 74, of Monroe, LA., will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday July 7, 2018 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe, LA, with Rev. Marcelle Ronquille officiating. Interment will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery in West Monroe, LA.

Mrs. Massey was born on April 21, 1944 in Columbia, LA. and passed away on July 1, 2018 in West Monroe, LA. She was a retired florist and lived her life to the very fullest. Mrs. Massey was an avid Saints fan. She is preceded in death by her parents Larkin and Odell Hair; husbands, Vernace Massey and Buddy Bonnett; brother, Henry Hair.

Survivors include her daughters, Rita Brown, Charlene Clements (William), Frances Champagne; son, John Bonnett (Philomena); grandsons she raised, Michael DeWayne Bonnett, Roland (J.R.) Garza, Jr.; 15 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren; sisters, Clariece O’Quinn (James), Sweet Pea Hair; brothers, Clyde Willie Hair (Brenda) Larkin T. Hair, Jr.; special nephew, Scotty Lambert (Gwen), and numerous nieces and nephews.

Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.

Visitation will be from 5PM until 8PM Friday July 6, 2018 at Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe, LA.
