Funeral services for Helen Louise Adams Patterson Ramsey Plair, 93, of Monroe, will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, January 4, 2019, at Mulhearn Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel with Rev. Jerry Fletcher officiating. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM Friday at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.
Mrs. Plair was born July 5, 1925, in Collinston, LA, and passed away Monday, December 31, 2018, at her residence. She was a retired nurse at Orthopedic Clinic in Monroe, LA, a member of Memorial United Methodist Church, and former member of the Eastern Star. Mrs. Plair lived life to the fullest, never complained, always energetic and outgoing. No matter what she faced, she faced it with dignity and calmness. She loved to laugh.
Mrs. Plair was preceded in death by husbands, Grady W. Patterson, Richard Ramsey, and Ray Plair; son, Jimmy W. Patterson; two brothers, Albert Adams and Morris Adams; niece, Anne Clifton; and nephew, Bill Adams.
Survivors include her daughter, Helen Claire Schubert and husband Tony of Houston, TX; Daughter-in-law, Rowena Reppond Patterson;grandchildren, Daniel Zane Schubert and wife Ashley of Crosby, TX, and Leigh Ann McCall and husband Gregory of Houston, TX; and great-grandchildren, Annalea Schubert and Zane Schubert; nieces, Harriett Fletcher and husband Jerry, and Billye Zachary; nephew, Danny Adams; and numerous great-nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Blain Clifton, Brian Futch, Darrin Futch, Glenn Futch, Kevin Adams, and Danny Adams.
The family wishes to extend a special thanks to Hospice Compassus for the love and care they gave Mrs. Plair.
