Graveside services for Helen Florence Berry Burgess, 88, of Monroe, LA, will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, December 1, 2017, at Serenity Gardens Cemetery, West Monroe, LA, with Rev. Roger Stoffer officiating, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.

Mrs. Burgess was born July 24, 1929 in West Monroe, LA and passed away, Monday, November 27, 2017 in West Monroe, LA. She was a member of Memorial Baptist Church, Monroe, LA.

Mrs. Burgess was preceded in death by her parents, Eldred M. Berry and Florence Lesper Gilbert Berry; husband, Lonzo Lelvin Burgess; daughter, Marsha Leonard; sons, Eddie Leonard and Charlie Leonard; and grandson, Charlie Leonard.

Survivors include her grandsons, Chris Leonard and Josh Leonard; and great granddaughter, Hailie Leonard.

Visitation will be 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM, Friday, December 1, 2017, at Mulhearn Funeral Home, 2308 Sterlington Road, Monroe, LA.
