Hazel Jones

Funeral services for Ms. Hazel L. Jones, 87, of Monroe, will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, December 29, 2012 in the Chapel at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe, with Rev. Tracy Ferriss officiating. Graveside services will follow at 3:30 PM, at Transport Cemetery near Dodson, LA.
Ms. Jones passed away Monday, December 24, 2012, at St. Francis Medical Center.  She was a member of The United Daughters of the Confederacy, The Home Demonstration Club, and The Business Women and Professional Club of Leesville.  She was also a member of Northgate Church of Monroe, LA, and of First Christian Church of Leesville, LA. She loved to paint and enjoyed gardening.
Ms. Jones was preceded in death by her father; Pierce Carmel Jones, and mother, Taircy Moffett. 
Survivors include her nieces, Bonnie Stokes and Betty Jones; nephews, Michael Jones, Roland Jones and Bryan Jones; sister-in-law, Iris Jones; and special friend, Betty Williams.
Pallbearers will be Michael Williams, Paul May, James Chatman, Greg Caldwell, and Tevin Ross.
Visitation will be from 4:00PM until 7:00 PM, Friday, December 28, 2012, at the funeral home.
