Funeral Services for Mrs. Hazel Duchesne, 92, of West Monroe, LA will be held 2:00 P.M., Thursday, February 25, 2016 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe, LA with Rev. Betty Swanson officiating. Interment will follow in Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery in Monroe, LA.Mrs. Duchesne was born January 3, 1924 and passed away February 22, 2016. She was a member of Lea Joyner Memorial United Methodist Church and St. Francis Auxiliary for over 20 years. Mrs. Duchesne was an avid reader. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ersie L. Duchesne; parents, Bert and Cilla Cockerham; sister, Ana Cockerham Crick; and brother, Royal Cockerham.Survivors include her daughter, Cathy Duchesne; nieces, Nelda Crick Albritton and husband Harold and Pat Wright; nephew, Charles Crick and wife Sonya; numerous other nieces and nephews; and neighbor, Esther Rhodes.Visitation will be held from 5:30 P.M. until 7:30 P.M., Wednesday, February 24, 2016 at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe, LA.Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
