Mr. Copeland died on Monday, June 23, 2008, in the East Carroll Parish Hospital in Lake Providence, LA after a lengthy illness, He was born October 26, 1939 to the late Thelma Homer “Fellie” Copeland and Tuggie Coats “Coot” Copeland both born in Richland Parish. He served his country duringVietnam Conlflict and also was a LSU graduate with a degree in chemical engineering after which he worked in the Petroleum Industry for many years before he retired.
He is survived by his wifew Linda Livingston Copeland and their son Gregory Wade Copeland of Slidell, LA; two grandchildren, Briana Alexis Copeland and Cameron Brooke Copeland both of Orlando, FL. ; two brothers, DeWayne Copeland of Shreveport, LA and Tommy H. Copeland of Monroe, LA, as well as one sister Yvonne Copeland Williams of Columbia, LA
