Harold Stevens

Graveside services for Mr. Harold Stevens, 87, of Monroe, LA, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, January 14, 2023, in Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery in Monroe, LA, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home Sterlington Rd.

Mr. Stevens was born July 31, 1935, in Monroe, LA and passed away January 6, 2023, in Monroe, LA.

Harold served in the U.S. Navy following the Korean War during the late 1950s. Harold lived with and cared for his father, Willie Stevens, in the 1980s and 1990s. After retiring from the State of Louisiana, E.A. Conway Hospital in the late 1990s as Director of Ambulance Services, Harold remained close to family and friends and was loved by all of them as he maintained his love for them.

Mr. Stevens was preceded in death by his mother and father, Margaret and Willie Stevens; four brothers, Jake Stevens, Ray Stevens, Ralph Stevens, and Edward Stevens; and two sisters, Lorine Stevens Panzico and Lynn Stevens Jones.

Survivors include four nephews, Paul Stevens, Robert Stevens, Sonny Panzico, and Rocky Stevens; and two nieces, Shirley Robinson and Betty Gowan.

Pallbearers will be Gary Gowan, Bubba Gowan, Daylyn Gowan, Gage Gowan, Don Newcomer, and Nicholas Newcomer.
