Funeral Services for Mr. Harold Benoit “Snort” Nubles, Sr., 91, of Monroe, LA, will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, February 26, 2025, at First Baptist Church Sterlington, with Rev. Ben Hackler and Rev. Dennis Hackler officiating. Private Family Interment will be held at Mulhearn Memorial Park in Monroe. Arrangements are under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home Monroe.
Mr. Nubles was born February 17, 1934 and passed away on February 22, 2025. He was a member of First Baptist Church Sterlington. Mr. Nubles was a Veteran who served his country in the United States Army. He was also a member of the Sterlington Riding Club and Ouachita Parish Riding Club. Mr. Nubles was an avid fisherman and hunter, who loved to be on Turkey Creek with his beloved wife Jane.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Maude Goyne Nubles; wife, Jane Mims Nubles; brother Billy Nubles; and three sisters, Gloria Jean Morace, Ann West and JoAnn Rich.
Survivors include his two sons, Harold Benoit Nubles, Jr, and David Nubles and special friend Megan Keene; four grandchildren, Erin Short and her husband Jesse, Megan Nubles, Matt Nubles, and James “JD” Nubles; eight great-grandchildren, Allie, Ashlyn, Addison, Katie, Lily, Lakin, Honey and RJ; sister, Sandra N Roussin and her husband Vince; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many special friends.
Pallbearers will be Brad Morace, Matt Nubles, JD Nubles, Allie Short, Dr Kerry Anders, and Bruce Nappier.
