Funeral Services for Mr. Harmon Ragan, III, of West Monroe, LA, will be held at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, May 16, 2018, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe, LA, with Rev. Chad Ballard officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Calhoun, LA.
Harmon Ragan, III, was born March 1, 1955, in Pelahatchie, MS, and passed away May 11, 2018 in Lafayette, LA.
Harmon impacted countless people throughout his lifetime. No one ever forgets the first time they met Harmon. His personality and work ethic were second to none. Those that knew Harmon would describe him as a very strong, loyal and hardworking man. Family came above all else to him. He was also an avid deer hunter and loved being in the outdoors. His greatest joy came from watching his grandbabies grow. He has left behind a lasting legacy on anyone that knew him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred Harmon Ragan, Jr. and Carmen Leonode Ragan; sister, Jeanette Ragan Brown; and brother, Samuel Ray Ragan.
Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Patricia Louise Parsons Ragan; son, Alfred Harmon Ragan, IV; daughter, Beth Ragan Dear and husband Rick Dear; son, Keith Ragan and wife Kristen Hofler Ragan; daughter, Laura Ragan Clifton and husband Caleb Clifton; five grandchildren, Bella Grace Dear, Lakyn Christine Clifton, Sadie Mae Ragan, Elaina Kate Lewis and Dawson Grey Ragan; sisters, Linda Gayle Ragan Giles, Brenda Ragan Nalepa and Patricia Ragan Ferguson; special niece, Kathrine Thomas and husband Bubba; and countless other nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Peter Smith, Steven Smith, Bubba Thomas, Kolby Ray, Ian Clark and Shane Hofler.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M., Tuesday, May 15, 2018, at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe, LA.
