Handres "Woody" Woods

A Funeral Mass celebrating the life of Handres “Woody’ Woods, 84, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 2:00PM Saturday, April 17, 2021 at St. Paschal Catholic Church in West Monroe with Fr. Frank Coens officiating. Interment will follow in St. Paschal Catholic Church Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.

Woody was born on September 9, 1936 in Gueydan, LA and passed away on April 14, 2021 in West Monroe, LA. Woody retired from Frito Lay after 25 years. He loved playing dominoes, fishing, working in his yard, but especially spending time with his grandbabies. He also enjoyed having coffee with his buddies after Sunday Mass.

Woody is survived by his wife of 64 years, Betty Cazaudebat Woods; children, Stephen Woods and wife Debbie, Cathy Winn, Judith Barr and husband Larry, Micheal Woods and wife Lisa, Cynthia Douglas and husband Tracy; 9 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Brian Woods, Scott Hutcherson, David Woods, Brandon Henderson, Brandon Powell, Brandon Humphreys, and Garrett Douglas.

The family would like to ask if memorials should be made, please do so to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or St. Paschal Catholic Church.

Visitation will be held from 12:00PM until service time at the church on Saturday, April 17, 2021 with a Rosary to begin at 1:40PM.
