Gwen was special, a sweet soul never bound by age or other factors. She possessed a beautiful childlike joy and purity throughout her life that never faded and blessed us all.
She was seldom seen without the “Gwen” smile that stretched from ear to ear. Gwen was sincerely happy to see you, hug you, and visit with you. You simply couldn’t know her without experiencing her contagious joy.
She held onto a few true loves in her life: all things Elvis, Disney, and the most immaculate coloring book work you’ve ever laid eyes on. But what she held on to best was greeting each person with her warm embrace. Gwen did not just wrap you in her arms, she wrapped you in love and peace. If more of us could hug like she did, smile like she did, and love like she did….the world would look much different.
