Graveside services for Gwendolyn Gail Sims, 62, of Monroe, will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, September 24, 2013, at the McCormick Cemetery in West Monroe, LA with Rev. Lindle Stewart officiating. Services are under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe, LA.

Mrs. Sims was born on May 4, 1951 in West Monroe, LA and died on Saturday, September 21, 2013, at her residence in Monroe, LA. She worked for Delta Packaging as a machine operator and is preceded in death by mother, Lena Mae Sykes; and a nephew, Andrew Seth Hunt.

Survivors include her husband, David Sims; children, Teresa Pippins and husband, Bo, James Delaney, and Tabitha Castle and husband, John; father, Gerald Dean Sullivan and wife Dell; grandchildren, Tyler Pippins, Michael Galaira, Caleb Castle, and Gavin Castle; daughter-in-law, Brandy Clark; brother, Bobby Sullivan and wife, Jane; sister, Rhena Landreth; sister-in-law, Susie Shrivers; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM Monday, September 23, 2013, at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe, LA.
