MR. GREGORY WILLIAM GILSTRAP Mulhearn Funeral Home Sterlington Rd. Monroe, LA Funeral service for Mr. Gregory William Gilstrap, 37, of Monroe, LA, will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, August 31, 2007, at Rowland Road Baptist Church with Rev. Norman Bryant and Rev. John Yates officiating. Interment will follow in Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery. Greg passed away August 24, 2007. He was a member of Rowland Road Baptist Church. Greg was a service technician at Trenton Appliance in his family’s business with his dad and uncle. He was also a member of the Twin City Chain Gang Disc Golf Club. Greg was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jesse and Carolyn Gilstrap and William and Frances Leggett; and grandfather-in-law, Robert Quesada. Survivors include his wife, Staci Blackwell Gilstrap; son, Garrison Dane Gilstrap; daughter, Ella Reese Gilstrap all of Monroe, LA; parents, Jesse Carl and Gloria Jean Gilstrap of Farmerville, LA; sister, Terri Gilstrap Hearn and husband Rick of Monroe, LA; brother, Brad Gilstrap of Gulf Shores, AL; nephew, Jake Hamner; two nieces, Erica Hearn and Jessica Hearn all of Monroe, LA; aunt, Darlene Hortman of Vicksburg, MS; two uncles and aunts, Jim and Kathy Gilstrap; Fred and Margie Heller; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ron and Vivan Blackwell all of Monroe, LA; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Sonya and Charlie Brown; and four nieces, Jessica, Taylor, Jordan, and Rebekah Brown all of West Monroe, LA. Pallbearers will be Bradley Bates, Steven McGowen, Wade Janes, Thomas Zarro, Steve Baker, and Gerald Coleman. Visitation will be from 5:00PM to7:00PM Thursday at Rowland Road Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Rowland Road Baptist Church.
