Grace Aline Meredith

Funeral services for Grace Aline Meredith, 82 of Winnsboro, Louisiana will be held March 23, 2012 at 1:00 p.m., in the Chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home in Winnsboro, Louisiana with Rev. Craig Beeman officiating.  Interment will follow in Myrtle Memorial Cemetery in Winnsboro, Louisiana under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home of Winnsboro.
Grace Aline Meredith was born on February 16, 1930 in Crowville, Louisiana and passed away on March 20, 2012 after a lengthy illness at Franklin Medical Center  in Winnsboro, Louisiana.  Mrs. Meredith worked in the retail service industry for many years, a homemaker who enjoyed sewing, crochet, quilting, gardening, cooking  and most of all taking care of her family.
Mrs. Meredith was preceded in death by her parents: Henry Robert Harper and Annie Rachael Harper;  brothers: Audrey Harper and Robert Harper.
Survivors include her husband Edward E. Meredith, Jr., sons: Michael Meredith of Monroe, La. and Eddie Meredith of Winnsboro, La., daughter: Joanne M. Atkins and husband Sheldon E. Atkins of Crowville,La.; grandson: Logan M. Atkins, MD of Crowville, La.; brothers Nolan Harper and wife Mary Alice of Bastrop, La., Douglas Harper and wife Pat of Eufala,OK.; sisters Jo Hayes of Bastrop, La., Lucille Halterman and husband Wilton of Bastrop, La. and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Visitation will be from 10:30 AM till time of service at 1:00 PM Friday, March 23, 2012 at Mulhearn Funeral Home in Winnsboro.
