Gloria Lee Johnston

Memorial services for Gloria Lee (Doety) Johnston, 91, will be held at 6:00 P.M. Tuesday June 6, 2023, at Ridge Avenue Baptist Church in West Monroe with Dr. Jim Wolf officiating under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe.

Doety was born August 7, 1931, and passed away on June 3, 2023, after a lengthy illness.

Mrs. Johnston was a very faithful member of Ridge Ave Baptist Church in West Monroe. She retired from their business, Johnston’s Radiator, in 2007, and was employed at Ouachita National Bank for many years.  She was a strong and loving woman.  Doety adored her grandchildren, and her great granddaughters would light up her world.  She loved talking and spending time with all of them.

Mrs. Johnston was preceded in death by her children Vicky Johnston and Paul Johnston, Jr.

She leaves to cherish her memories a loving husband of 64 years, Paul C Johnston; grandchildren, P.J. Johnston, of Panama City Beach, FL., and Paige Johnston, Panama City Beach, FL.
Great grandchildren, Madison, Breanna, Lorelei Johnston, Anabelle and Skylar Byargeon.

Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M until time of service at 6:00 P.M. Tuesday June 6, 2023 at Ridge Avenue Baptist Church in West Monroe, LA.
