Gloria Jean HopkinsFuneral services for Gloria Jean Hopkins, 84, of Monroe, will be held at 11:30 AM, Tuesday, March 10, 2015, in the Chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home of Monroe with her nephew, Rev. Bobby Armstrong and Rev. Harry Lilly officiating. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery. Mrs. Hopkins went to her heavenly home on Friday, March 6, 2015 after a courageous battle with cancer.Gloria was employed for 32 years with Riverwood International as Personnel Director. She and Riley enjoyed their retirement years at their camp on Lake Claiborne with family and friends. She also spent many hours growing beautiful flowers and working in her yard. Gloria was a dedicated Christian and member of Bethany Full Gospel Church of West Monroe. Gloria was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Riley E. Hopkins, and her parents, Milton S. and Eva W. Brown.Gloria is survived by her daughter, Sheryl Bell and husband Steven; grandson, Todd Bell and wife Katrina; granddaughter, Jennifer Hill and husband Greg; five great grandchildren, Bailey, Taylor, Abbigail, Brooke and Shyenne; several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Bobby Urban, Todd Bell, David Hill, Greg Hill, Floyd Peters, Guy Bell and Steve Descant Visitation will be held from 10:30 AM until service time, Tuesday, March 10, 2015.
