Graveside service for Mrs. Glenda Faye Duncan, 81, of Monroe, LA, will be held at 9:15AM Thursday, November 9, 2023, at the Dallas Fort Worth Veterans National Cemetery with Rev. Terry W. Duncan officiating under the local arrangements of Mulhearn Funeral Home Sterlington Rd. Monroe.
Mrs. Glenda was born on August 18, 1942, in Dallas, TX, and passed away on November 5, 2023, in Monroe, LA. She has held various positions since coming to Monroe in 1985, but her primary focus has always been on family and supporting the ministry of her husband at Temple Baptist Church/ChristWay Church of Monroe. Her gentle and godly spirit will be remembered by everyone who has known her. Mrs. Glenda was preceded in death by her parents, Mervin and Margaret Durham; and siblings, Doris Nelson, Tommy Womack, Kay Loggins, Norma Smith, Pauline Anderson, and Calvin Womack.
Survivors include her husband of 65 years, Rev. Herman Wayne Duncan; son, Rev. Terry Wayne Duncan and wife Tonya Ann; son, Jeffery Brian Duncan; daughter, Tracy Kathleen Duncan; grandchildren, Terry Wayne Duncan II, Erin Ruth Walser and husband Jeffrey, Emily Elizabeth Duncan Robbinette and husband Logan Corey, Carly Malone Duncan, Rachel Lucille Lyons, Glenna Ann Ziegler and husband Noah, and Madaly Claire Duncan; great grandchildren, Andrew Duncan, Aubrey Walser, Natalie Walser, Collin Duncan, Rosemary Duncan, Eve Ziegler, Selah Ziegler, and two more on the way; and sister, Mary Margarett “Margie” Horn and husband Wayne.
Memorials may be made to ChristWay Church in Monroe.
