Glenda passed away on Tuesday, May 1, 2018. She was born on August 29, 1949, in Delhi, LA, to Bill Bailey and Ruth Bailey Evans. Glenda was the oldest of 5 children. Glenda worked for many years as a CNA at St. Francis, as well as Glenwood. She had a loving, caring heart for her patients and a work ethic like none other. She was a member of Victory Baptist Church. She devoted her life to serving the Lord, her mother and family. Glenda loved and cared for her nieces and nephews as her own children. As we grieve Glenda’s passing from this life, we also rejoice in the fact she has been given her new heavenly body and is in the presence of the Lord.
Preceding Glenda in death is her father, Bill Bailey; and her loving nephew, Lance Michael Thomas.
Survivors include her mother, Ruth Bailey Evans; sister, Connie Bailey Thomas (Danny) of Monroe, LA; brothers, Mack Bailey of Leesville, LA, Johnny Bailey (Kelly) of Monroe, and Mark Bailey (Jana) of Richardson, TX; nieces, Melissa Jarrell (Troy), Whitney Ezell (Daniel); and nephews, Josh Bailey of Monroe, and Brandon Bailey (Sally) of Denton, TX.
