Funeral Services for Gladys Cuave Jennings, 88, of West Monroe will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, October 29, 2010 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe with Rev. Jason Lupo and Rev. George Bonner officiating. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery, Monroe, LA.
Mrs. Jennings was born on March 10, 1922 in Winnsboro, LA, and passed away on October 26, 2010 in West Monroe, LA. She was a member of Central Baptist Church, Forest Glade Baptist Church and Community Baptist Church. Mrs. Jennings loved her family and was a true prayer warrior. She is preceded in death by parents, Robert and Ollie Cuave; husband, Carl Douglas Jennings; brother, Regie Lee Cuave, Sr.; and grandson, Benjamin Young Jennings.
Survivors include her sons, Ronnie Jennings and wife Sandy, Danny Jennings and wife June; grandchildren, Robert Damian Jennings and wife Jennifer, Nathaniel Cale Jennings; great grandchildren, Arabella, Cole, and Cody Jennings; sister, Arthemise Lupo; numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Nathaniel Jennings, Regie Cuave, Gary Lupo, Vergil Clampit, Danny Carraway, and Lonnie Taylor. Honorary Pallbearer will be Damian Jennings.
Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Thursday, October 28, 2010 at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.
Memorials may be made to Community Baptist Church or to Benjamin’s Cove at Seeker Springs Ministry Center.
