Funeral Services for Mrs. Ginger Rose Avant Robinson, 78, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, June 9, 2016 at the Highland Baptist Church in West Monroe, LA with Rev. Gordon “Skip” Dean officiating. Interment will follow in the Hasley Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA.Mrs. Robinson was born on May 10, 1938 and passed away on June 6, 2016. She worked for Central Bank for many years and loved gardening and raising cattle with her husband. Mrs. Robinson is preceded in death by her husband, Marcus Robinson; her daughter, Marcia Hatten; and her sisters, Ida Foster and Barbara Humphreys.Survivors include her son, Scott Robinson and wife, Janice; son-in-law, Randall Hatten; grandchildren, Scotty Robinson and wife, Ashley, Susan Robinson, Jennifer Robinson, Jordan Robinson, Chad Hatten, Mark Hatten, Katie Roberts and husband, Jason; brothers, Joe Avant and wife, Sue and Bill Avant and wife, Carol; great grandchildren, Kate Robinson, Connor Robinson, and Branson Roberts; along with numerous nieces and nephews.Pallbearers will be Scotty Robinson, Chad Hatten, Jordan Robinson, Mark Hatten, Randall Hatten, and David Avant.Visitation will be held from 12:00 P.M. until Service Time on Thursday at Highland Baptist Church.Memorials may be made to the Highland Baptist Church in West Monroe, LA.
