Geraldine 'Jerri' Coon Harris

Funeral services for Geraldine “Jerri” Harris, 83, of Monroe, will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, August 23, 2015, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Monroe, with Rev. Stan Wyant officiating. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery.Mrs. Harris died Wednesday, August 19, 2015, at Savannah Grand of West Monroe. She was a homemaker and avid gardener. She enjoyed sewing quilts, painting crafts, water colors, and loved her many visits to her friends in Arkansas and visiting with her church family. Mrs. Harris was preceded in death by her husband, Charles D. Harris, Sr.; brothers, Donald Coon and Al Coon; sister, Margaret Coon Ramer.Survivors include her children, Charles (Chuck) Harris, Jr. and wife Elana, David Harris and wife Shirley, John Harris, Wesley Harris and wife Cindy, and Lauren J. Gulick and husband Tom; brothers, Joseph Coon and John Coon; seven grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren.
